Ramside Hall Cup Winner Cup Final
19TH April 2013
PELTON RAOB 1 v 2 KELLOE Wmc.
Pelton
enjoyed most of the possession in the first half but failed to capitalise.
Craig Mickle was a bit of a handful but Kelloe’s well marshalled defenders
protected their goal well. On the forty minute mark Pelton almost broke the
deadlock Luke Kerry heading a great free kick from Michael Craver just wide of
the post with keeper Barry Poskett well beaten. From the goal kick out Kelloe’s
Kieran Megran breaks clear from the half way line, rounds the keeper and slots
home the opener. The second period starts with Pelton pushing hard for an
equaliser, on the sixty minute mark Craig Mickle thought he had equalised but
referee Frostwick ruled the goal off side. Kelloe absorb the pressure
comfortably and with five minutes remaining Kieran Megran grabs his second to
make it two nil. During injury time Pelton substitute Scott Hope knocks in a
consolation goal to make the final score 2-1
