Jfc Then Extended Their Lead To NETPark Frustration 3-1, NETPark Got Back Into The Game 3-2 Then With 4mins Remaining They Were Awarded A Penalty, A Chance To Level, But Ryan Tinkler Crashed The Penalty Against The Bar. Jfc Broke Away In The Final Minute To Seal The Win That Puts Them Into The Semi-Final, Good Luck To Jfc In The Semis. Wjfc Welcomed S`Fld Net Park To Their Home Ground For This 4th Rd Alan Smith Trophy Match, Net Pk Started The Stronger And There Pressure Paid Dividends When They Went Ahead After 20mins With A Good Cross From The Left Was Headed In At The Far Post 1-0 Net Park, Wjfc Equalised When Briggs Who Started The Move From The Middle Of The Park Got On The End Of The Cross To Head Home After Middlemiss Put In A Telling Cross 1-1, Jfc Took The Lead When Net Parks Keeper Dropped A Cross From Middlemiss And Hewitt Tapped In From Close Range 2-1 Jfc At H/T. The Second Half Saw Jfc Take Control And The Pressure Paid Off When Harris Met A Cross From Middlemiss At The Near Post And Slotted The Ball Over The Line 3-1 Jfc, Net Park Never Stopped Trying Throughout And Made It 3-2 When There Centre Forward Headed A Good Cross In From The Right, 10 Mins Later They Were Awarded A Penalty When Hewitt Tripped A Net Park Striker In The Box, The Penalty Kick Was Struck Powerfully But Rebounded Off The Cross Bar, A Lucky Escape For Jfc, Jfc Wrapped The Game Up When Middlemiss Broke Through The Middle And His Shot Flew Into The Bottom Right Hand Corner From 14yds 4-2 Jfc F/T.

If Ever There Was An Advertisement For The Highs And Lows Of Cup Football Then This Match Was It; Washington Lambton Village Were In Complete Control Outplaying And Out Battling The Visitors And Deservedly Leading A 3-0 Advantage Into The Interval, It Could Have Been More If Not For The Heroics Of Goalkeeper David Flowers Who Made A Number Of Outstanding Saves The Most Notable Somehow Tipping A Well Struck Penalty Onto The Crossbar.

Sacriston Equalised Shortly After To Make The Score 1-1 At Half Time. 2 Quick Goals Bur Sacriston 3-1 Up Then Scored A 4th Before Chilton Could Get Another Goal Through M Searby. Final Score 5-2. A Very Good Game To Watch Between Two Good Sides. Chilton Went Ahead Through A Goalkeeping Error Then Sacriston Pulled One Back Through Chris Yates. Yates Scored Another 3 Goals Before Chilton Replied To Make It 4-2 Then Gary Draper Scored A Wonder Goal From The Halfway Line To Make It 5-2

Close But Scrappy Game. No Flow And Littered With Fouls And Interruptions. Brandon's Goals Came From Parnaby (2) And Bryden With The Crucial 3rd. Chester’s Kept Going Till The End And Created Half Chances But Brandon Edged A Poor Game.

The Lyons Played Some Great Football In The First Half And Thoroughly Deserved A Three Goal Lead. Warren Byrne Was Unlucky In The Thirteenth Minute When His Shot From 25 Yards Had The Goalkeeper Well Beaten And The Ball Smashed Against The Cross Bar, Two Minutes Later And Byrne Was The Architect For The First Goal And He Spread The Ball For Pearson To Cross And Minter Wallace Was There To Finish It Off 0-1. The Lyons Went Two Goals To The Good In The 17th Minute Kane And Price Worked The Ball Well In The Midfield And Warren Byrne Placed The Ball Giving The Keeper No Chance 0-2. The Lyons Playing Some Good Football And In The 40th Minute Byrne Again In The Thick Of It Slotted The Ball To Nicky Kane And His Shot Went Through The Goalkeepers Legs And In To The Net 0-3.Second Half And It Was A Much Better Start From The Home Side And Coxhoe Scored Two Goals In Seven Minutes (55 And 62 Mins) The Home Side Were Looking Buoyant The Lyons Had To Dig Deep And They Did And Created Some Good Chances For Bell And Byrne To Extend The Lead But The Keeper Denied Them And Shots That Went Wide Of The Goal. A Competitive Game With Defences In Control. Only Two Chances Each In The First Half. At The Start Of The Second Half Aycliffe Put Sustained Pressure On The Kelloe Defence, But As The Half Progressed Kelloe Came More Into The Game, And Ended It Being The Team In Command. A Draw Being A Fair Result.

Bowburn Visited Sherburn And Once Again Struggled For The Same 11 Players And Without Regular Goalkeeper And It Only Took 5 Minutes Before Sherburn Scored A Cross From The Wing And A Header Into The Bottom Corner Sherburn Piled On The Pressure With Bowburn Clearing But Nothing To Aim For Up Field The Ball Kept Coming Back And Before Half Time It Was 4-0 .Bowburn Were Fortunate To Be Able To Make A Sub But This Didn’t Help As The Pressure Coming On Josh Hugill Scoring 4 For Sherburn Another 2 Came To Make The Final Score 10-0 But Bowburn Did Fight Until The End And Some Decisions Against Them When It Looked Clear Offside At Times But Sherburn Deserved There Win And Bowburn Need To Try To Regroup Once More .

Dubmire Continued Their Impressive Start To The Season Goals From James Gardiner,Amd A Paul Donaldson Wonder Strike Cancelled Out Pelaw `S Early Goal . In The First Few Minutes A Move Down The Left Hand Wing Saw Pelaw's David Henderson Taken Down As He Started To Turn In Towards Dubmire's Goal By There Last Man. They Were Lucky To Only Have A Warning Against Them As This Could Have Easily Been A Red Card. The Game Was Very Even With Both Sides Passing The Ball About But Then A Defensive Error Allowed Michael McLean Calmly Put The Ball Past The Dubmire Keeper John Smith. In The 31st Minute A Free Kick For Pelaw Saw McLean’s Effort Go Just Over The Bar And Then In The 36th Minute Dubmire’ s Keeper John Smith Again Made A Good Save From McLean’s Shot After David Donnelly's Free Kick. In The Second Half Kevin Turnes On 52 Minutes Was Clean Through On Goal When He Was Brought Down Again By Dubmire Last Man Who Was Given Only A Yellow Card.James Gardner Then Equalised For Dubmire After Pelaw Grange Dogs Fc Lost The Ball In Mid Field And Then Pete Adnitt Had To Pull Out A Great Save On 58 Minutes To Prevent Them Going Ahead. Chris Gosnell Came On For Michael McLean On 63 Minutes And Then In 72 Minutes Kevin Turnes Went Off For Chris Hawkins. A Miss Hit Cross From The Wing By Paul Donaldson Of Dubmire Then Went Over Pete Adnitts Head And He Just Failed To Get A Hand To It To Make It 2-1 To Dubmire. Pelaw Then Created A Handful Of Chances But Failed To Put Any Of Them Away With Neil Worley Putting His Header Wide With An Open Goal On 84 Minutes And David Donnelly Having His Shot Saved And Then Shot Wide. In All An Entertaining Game And One Pelaw Didn't Deserve To Lose But They Need To Put The Chances Created Away.

The Plough Hosted Division 2 Leaders New Brancepeth On Sunday, Knowing A Win Was Vital, As It Would Close The Gap To Just 3 Points With 3 Games In Hand.
The Plough Came Out Of The Blocks Very Quickly, And Where Very Much On Top For The Opening 20 Minutes, Stephen Maddox Was Played Through By Jack Moore, Maddox Clipped His Shot Over The Despairing Keeper To Put The Home Side 1 Up. The Hosts Had The Ball In The Net Again Just Minutes Later, Only For It To Be Ruled Out For Offside, They Did However Double Their Advantage Through An Unlikely Source, Graeme Coxon Picked Up On A Sloppy Ball Played It Wide To Richard Johnson His Ball Into The Box Fell To The Feet Of Coxon Who Scored. The Plough Seemed To Go To Sleep After The Second Goal And The Visitors Had A Lot Of The Ball In The Centre Of The Park, But Struggled To Create Any Chances. They Did However Win A Penalty, A Ball From The Left Was Whipped Across The Face Of The Home Sides Goal, Daniel Hall Was Adjudged To Push The Striker At The Back Stick. Brancepeth Converted To Make It 2-1.The Second Half Continued With Brancepeth Having A Lot Of Possession But They Only Created Once Chance, That Came From A Hopeful Punt Over The Top, The Striker Rounded Price In Goal But Fluffed His Chance At The Sight Of An Open Goal.

New Brancepeth Went Into This Game Needing The 3 Points And Just Started Far Too Slow, They Went 2 0 Down Within 20 Mins,Eventually New Brancepeth Got Back To Their Usual passing Game And Started To Get On Top They Grabbed A Goal Back Thanks To A Penalty Won A And Scored By Anthony Bussey Who Is On A Goal scoring Streak. 2nd Half Started And It Was New Brancepeth Who Came Out Flying, John Kidd Missing A Glorious Open Goal No Thanks To The Shadforth Bmx Track We Were Playing On, New Brancepeth Then Had A Shot Headed Out For A Corner Which Was Going In If Not For An Excellent Block From Shadforth Who Were Defending Their Hearts Out, The Game Ended 2 1 To Shadforth And This Has Put A Major Dent In Newbrancepeths Title Hopes

Sedgefield Started Brightly, And Were Soon Awarded A Penalty, Which Dave Brumpton Duly Dispatched. The Game See-Sawed For A while And Usher Moor Equalised From A Free Kick, Which Was Scuffed And Landed At The Feet Of A Forward In The Six Yard Box And He Tucked It In The Corner. Sedgefield Were Then Awarded A Second Penalty For A Tackle Lawrence Dallagio Would Have Been Proud Of. Once Again Dave Brumpton Duly Dispatched The Penalty And Sedgefield Led Two One At Half Time. Sedgefield Started Sloppy In The Second Half And Usher Moor Soon Equalised From A Corner With A Towering Leap At The Back Post And The Ball Planted Firmly In The Top Corner. From Then On Sedgefield’s Defence Failed To Deal With The Long Ball Punted Up The Middle Of Pitch By Usher's Goal Keeper And They Quickly Added A Further Two Goals, Making It 4 - 2.

Sedgefield Continued To Compete But Never Really Threatened Usher Moors Goal And Usher Moor Added Another Goal To Run Out Easy Winners At 5 - 2.

After Half Time The Dynamoes Continued To Control When Reece Bell Beat Three Players To Cross For Luke McGill To Tap In From 6 Yards Out. A Really Good Game Of Football Today. Lumley Took An Early Lead After A Loose Back Header By Avenue Centre Back Josh Craig Allowed The Lumley Strike To Slip In For An Easy Finish. Both Teams Battled Away, High Shincliffe Had A Goal Crossed Off After Buckle Was Through On Goal. The Lumley Keeper Rushed Out And Both Ran Into Each Other, The Ball Bounced Up And Was Finished By Roughley But The Referee Pulled Play Back. Lumley Hit The Bar With A Free Kick And There Were Other Chances And Corners At Both Ends Before Lumley Went In At Half-Time 1-0. High Shincliffe Started The Second Half Very Well Applying A Lot Of Pressure On The Lumley Goal. The Equaliser Came From A Wide Ball Flicked On By Josh Craig And Finished By Joe Barber In A Packed Penalty Area. Washington Tavern Took The Lead After 20 Minutes When Lee Cosgrove Rounded The Keeper And Neatly Passed The Ball Home. Washington Tavern Then Doubled Their Lead Shortly After When Craig Neal Got On The End Of Cross From Lee Cosgrove. Ended 2-0 At Half Time.
