Ramside Hall Hotel Cup Winners Trophy 1st Round
brandon sports 4  v 1  new durham
Despite the conditions, both teams tried to play football. Whilst the pitch held up early in the game both teams knocked the ball around. Brandon moved the ball down the left and Andy Morris turned in a low cross to put Brandon one up. New Durham were quickly back in the game with a well taken 20 yard drive in to the top corner. The game was even at this stage however, it was Brandon then went in 2-1 up at half time following a Gavin Mudd header from a corner. The second half was pretty much of the same although Lee Blades of Brandon made the difference creating one goal and scoring a splendid solo goal, Brandon finishing as 4-1 winners.
good game considering the condations, brandon went 1-0 up after 2 minutes, durham leveled the score on 20 minutes, brandon made it 2-1 right on the stroke at half time, 2nd half both teams had chances, brandon was gifted the 3rd goal after sloppy play. durham pressed to get back in the game. but right on the final whistle, brandon got the 4th,.. good luck to brandon

Pity me lambton hounds 0  v 5 Chester-le-street Relton Terrace
In a game which looked like the pitch was going to have a massive effect on the game it didnt take too long for Chester-le-street Relton Terrace to get going, making it 1-0 thanks to a composed finish from Paul Nicholson. Relton terrace then pushed hard getting another 2 goals in quick succession thanks to Paul Nicholson again and Mark Graham. Nicholson caused real trouble with his pace for a Pity me side looking to be struggling to cope with him at the back going through again and on a hat-trick passing the ball for Alex Malcolm to tap into an empty net. 4-0 to Chester-le-Street Relton terrace at HT. Second half Pity me lambton hounds had one or two chances due to Relton Terrace taking there foot off the gas before Anthony Quinn popped up with the only goal in the 2nd half. Man of the match for Chester Relton terrace going to Mark Graham.
