The Lyons Too Full Advantage Of Some Good Football In The First Half By Scoring Four Goals, A Thru Ball From Price To Byrne And On To Teasdale Who Rounded The Goalkeeper And He Put The Ball In To The Net From A Tight Angle For A 1-0 Lead After Eight Minutes. Substitute Walklate Looked Like Getting On The Score Sheet But A Good Save From The Wingate Goalkeeper And Byrne Was First To React And Put The Ball In The Net 6-1. Minutes Before the Final Whistle Wingate Scored a Second Goal

Hartlepool Rovers Quoits 3  v  0  Pelaw Grange Dogs
The Dogs starting brightly, moving the ball around and keeping possession well but with the home team always looking dangerous going forward. The Dogs almost took the lead when a ball over the top from David Donnelly found Josh Donnelly breaking clear but shot tamely and the keeper saved comfortably. The home team took the lead on 22mins when a Quoits player met a corner at the near post and headed home 1-0. The Dogs almost equalised when a shot from Hawkins struck the bar but the home team extended the lead on 30mins with a bizarre own goal. A free kick from distance was tipped onto the bar and Curry inexplicably headed the ball over his own keeper 2-0.Half Time.
After the break The Dogs kept giving the ball away in dangerous positions and causing their own problems, the home team missed a host of chances before putting the game to bed on 68mins. Another corner wasn't dealt with and the Quiots player with what looked like a suspicion of hand ball turned to fire home 3-0. Playing Bowburn twice in two weeks but this time they had a full team, Hilda bossed the game from start to finish, with the midfield duo of Gregory and Chapman controlling the Game, leaving the wingers and forwards time to torment the Bowburn defence.
Mark Pryor playing wide right scored the opening goal with some majestic skill after receiving a pass from tireless Jonathan Yip. Further goals a hat trick from James Oldfield and individual efforts from Michael Johnson, Jonathan Yip, and Connor McTeer rounded of a comfortable win for Hilda.

Sacriston Wmc 3 V 3 Chester Plough Inn
Chester Plough Inn Made The Short Trip To Play Sacriston Wmc And Started Much The Brighter Side. The Riversides Took The Lead In The Tenth Minute When Andy Dawson's Shot Was Deflected And Looped Over The Home Keeper. The Plough Quickly Extended Their Lead When Ben Lloyd Supplied A Brilliant Through Ball For Daniel Hill Who Rounded The Keeper And Finished Well. By The 20th Minute The Away Side Were 3-0 Up When Hill Played In Joel Baddams Who Cooly Rounded The Keeper And Smashed The Ball Past The Defenders On The Line. Sacriston Hit Back In A Crazy Five Minute Spell When They Managed To Score 3 Goals.
In The Second Half The Game Could Have Went Either Way With Sacristion Having The Best Of The Chances As They Searched For A Winner. The Plough Had A Great Opportunity To Win The Game As They Were Awarded A Penalty After Ryan Clarke Was Fouled In The Area, However Daniel Hill's Spot Kick Was Saved Well From Bryan Potts.
There was some doubt the game would take place due to the heavy frost but the ref decided it was playable. The Plough's first game from a deflected shot, it was heading straight for Pott's but Richardson got his head on it and diverted into the net for an OG. The 2nd came from a lovely through ball, Finch was unable to keep up with the striker and he raced clear to slot passed Potts. Another goal from the Plough and the game was all but over, Renwick pulled one back with a typical powerful run, rounding the keeper to make it 3-1, Jona Lane made it 3-2 just before half time.
The second half was mainly 1 way traffic from the home side, they pulled level from another Rewick goal and had chance after chance to take the lead. The Plough were awarded a penalty but Potts made a great save down to his left, Sacriston continued to look for the winner but a mixture of poor finishing, great goalkeeping and defending kept the score at 3-3

Luke Mcgill Scored His Second With A Tap In From A Square Ball From A Lively Scott Maughan, Scotty Maughan Scored His Second With A Sublime Lob From 25 Yards. St. Cuthberts Got A Consolation Goal Late On. Final Score 2-Cuthberts winning streak came to an end, in a scrappy game due to thick fog, and a very heavy pitch. Cuthberts started poorly but took the lead midway through the first half, and held it at half time. However a poor 15 minute spell saw them fall 4-1 behind, and that was just about that. 4-2 final score.

Langley Park Rams Head 3 V 0 Framwellgate Moor  Wmc
Langley Continued There Good League Form With An Impressive Win, Were 1-0 Up At Hlf Time With A Header From Captain Craig Bowman,Fram Attacked Better Second Hlaf But Just Couldnt Get That Goal, Langley Scored 2 More In Second Half Through A Penalty Of Steven Mickle And Christopfher Coates
Washington Jays 1 V  4 Bede Lodge Social
Both Teams Missed Chances To Change Game, Washington Jays Could Have Scored 4, However Bede Lodge Could Have Easily Had 11. Good Game Spoiled By Freezing Fog And Pitch In Bad Condition.

chester  Cricket club 1 v 3 Bishop Middleham Fc
a change of formation saw a much improved middleham side , although chester club took a 1-0 lead when the left back converted with a powerful header following a corner , middleham refused to let there heads drop and 10 minuets later deseverdly leveled the score with a cool finish from the number 11 , this turned the match in middlehams favour and after a good passing move a rasping drive from gareth hamblin flew passed a helpless keeper and into the roof of the net , a well earned half time lead for middleham....second half chester came out fighting desprate not to lose there unbeatean record , the pressure was piled on , but some poor finishing and top class defending saw middleham weather the storm , chester just had no answer to middlehams resolve and conseeded again midway through the second half another hard drive from hamblin took a deflection into the bottom corner , chester looked stunned !!!....middleham were rampant and to be honest should have been out of sight , a fine display from the chester keeper and with the help of the post and bar really did stop this from being a bigger scoreline.....fantastic match

Fourth Division

Quarrington Hill Fc 0  V 0 Pittington Fc
Cant Really Say Much About The Game As Most Of It Was Played In Thick Mist, For About 60 Mins Of The Game we couldnt see either goal posts, A far better game than the scoreline suggests with both teams doing enough to take the 3 points. Q hill probably had the more possession but pittington had the best chances and it took some good 1 v 1 saves from young keeper jordan nicholson to keep it at 0-0. Pittington had a goal ruled out for offside and after an end to end last 15 minutes a draw was a fair result as neither team deserved to lose. Q hill MOM Jeff Dean, pittington MOM Chris Menzies

Pity Me Lambton Hounds 3  V  6 Washington New Tavern
Washington Tavern took an early lead through a well crafted corner between Allan Taylor and Andrew Patterson, with the Latter finding the back of the net with a left foot strike. Pity Me equalised shortly after with a header from a weel crafted move down the right, they then went into the lead shortly after with a 2nd goal on 25 minutes. Washington Tavern responded when Chris Trewhitt got on the end of a very good delivery from Allan Taylor and headed the ball home. Pity Me responded with a 3rd goal on 40minutes before Craig Neal broke through just before the break and slotted the ball clamly home to make it 3-3 at half time.
Washington Tavern started off the stronger team in the 2nd half, Andrew Patterson scored on 55 minutes after a strong run through the middle of the park to make it 4-3. Tavern scored a very scrappy goal from a coner when centre half, Rob Wilson stabbed the ball home from close range. A Penealty from Andrew Patterson Late on in the game secured a 6-3 victory for Washington New Tavern and also a hattrick for Andrew Patterson. Christopher Trewhitt picking up Man Of the Mactch for another solid performance

High Shincliffe The Avenue FC 0 v 4 Durham County Seniors FC
The visitors earned a comfortable three points at a foggy Belmont Community Centre with goals from Daniel Cummings from the penalty spot, a brace for Captain Lee Walker and a fine solo finish by Jordan Haywood on his recall to the starting eleven, this without reply. It could have been more if not for some wayward finishing and the form of the home goalkeeper who deservedly picked up the man of the match award.
