In the Leagues Premier Division Washington  Jfc Traveled to Murton to Play League Leaders Hetton Lyons Cricket Club .Washington took the lead in the 11th minute with a well worked goal. In the second half the Lyons were much stronger but were having no luck in front of goal until the last minute of normal time when finally Gavin Cogdon scored with a goal from inside the six yard box, to keep the Lyons unbeaten league run intact, Cogdon nearly snatched victory for The Lyons in injury time when his attempt was cleared off the Line and Leon Ryan saw his header cleared off the line from the Washington defender.  Full time 1-1.With Newton Aycliffe Wmc’s Pitch waterlogged the Game was switched to Pelton Roab’s Ground, Pelton took the lead on 20 Mins Craig Mickle going on a solo run, and scoring a left footed goal from 18 yards out yards. 10 Mins Later Some good work from Craig Mickle led to an opposition error. Carl Ritchie took advantage by scoring a tremendous right footed goal from close range. Just after Half time, Craig Mickle added his second of the Game with a right footed conversion from 18 yards out, following a Carl Ritchie pass. On 89 Mins Mickle Completed His Hat Trick  when Anthony Davison supplied the through-ball, and Craig Mickle found the net from six yards out with a tremendous left footed effort., The Newton Aycliffe Keeper Steve Richardson had a Great Game. Final Score Pelton 4-0 Newton Aycliffe.After last weeks County Cup Win Brandon Bay Horse Travelled to Ferryhill Wmc for Today’s Premier League Game, In a Very close game the Bay horse were 4-3 winners. 20 Mins into the Game Ferryhill wmc were leading 3-1; But a Hat trick from Andy Johnson gave the Bat Horse all three Points.
            In the League First Division Ushaw Moor Cricket Club were 2-0 winners at Barley Mow Inn, The Biddick Hit 9 in their 9-3 win at Gilesgate Moor Hotel, Houghton Comrades continued their push for promotion with a 2-1 win at Sacriston Wmc. Washington Arms came to Langley Park  Steelers with both teams sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw. In a game that saw very few chances created by either side the visitors took the lead on 8 minutes with Steelers FC equalising 8 minutes into the second period. Craig Thompson scoring for the Steelers with a fine left footed shot through two defenders.

            In the Second Division Sedgefield Net Park entertained Washington Victoria Inn Both teams were short in numbers so one or two rusty players on the field. NET Park started the game the better of the two teams and dominated possession. 15mins and Martin Broom burst through the Victoria defence and finished superbly 1-0. A great through ball by Dan Pilling played Broom in which he beat the keeper with a quickly taking shot 2-0. Broom's hat-trick was completed after 30mins with a gem, Pilling knocking a free kick into the box and Broom finishing with a controlled volley into the far corner. Just before h/t Victoria had a lifeline with a disputed goal given that looked a few yards offside? H/t 3-1. A few minutes into the 2nd half a great run and a cracking finished by the Victoria midfielder gave Victoria hope 3-2. A fumble by the Victoria keeper allowed Pilling to make it 4-2 the keeper was injured in the scramble with him been replaced not long afterwards. NET Park started to dominate the play again with Victoria reverting to long balls, Martin Broom added another two goals to take it five for the day 6-2, Phillip Bland came on as sub and at the death finished brilliantly to make it 7-2.Lumley Fc were at Home to Durham Bede Lodge, Bede Lodge scored early on before Alex Malcolm equalized on the stroke of half time for Lumley Fc . Chances fell at both ends but when Bede took the lead heads dropped and Bede secured a 5-1 victory.Pelton Fc lost 4-2 at Sherburn Lambton Arms. Chester Plough Inn Traveled to Chilton Wmc Goals from Ben Lloyd on 80 Mins who took the ball down on his chest and from 25 yards unleashed an unstoppable shot into the top corner and 5 Mins later Mark Atchison fired home from close range with a speculative headed goal, following a cross from Ben Lloyd was Not enough to prevent the Plough Loosing 3-2.
            In the Third Division Pelaw Grange Dogs FC were away to Bishop Middleton Cross Keys who had a full strength team out for a change. Pelaw however were forced to make changes again with players injured or away. Bishop looked the better team and Pelaw allowed them to be the better team surrendering the midfield and eventually went one down before half time with a ball hot from the edge of the penalty box and bounced before going into the net. Wayne Laws also made a great save from a shot that would of crept into the bottom right hand corner. Gareth Playle was bossing the game for Bishop and John Anderson was winning everything in the air when the ball was played forward to Pelaws Andy Tippins and Ant Nicholson. After the break John Anderson got a second for Bishop and then a mix up between Pelaws keeper and defender saw a third go in from a corner. Pelaw changed there shape to a 4 2 and looked far better with David Donnelly playing behind the front two and they could of pulled at least one back. Pelaws keeper Wayne Laws went off injured and centre back Craig Baine took over in goal and manager Paul Swinburne came on before the end of the game. Bishop also changed their keeper at half time.Shadforth Plough Inn were 4-2 winners at Chester Easy Street. Hopps and Gaunt do the damage For East Rainton Fc as High Handlehold Bird Inn dominate large periods of the game but fail to take the points.  Rainton win 2-1. Witton Gilbert Wmc entertained Pittington Fc A hat trick from David Callcutt and 1 each from substitute Grant Boyd and the ever impressive Sam Renwick were the goal contributors but every player did his bit.1 up at half time from a Callcutt penalty there was little evidence really hat Witton would dominate so much in the 2nd half, but they did so with Sam Renwick proving a constant thorn in the side for Pittington defenders with his unselfish running off the ball. Nerves were jangling a bit until the 2nd goal came 15 minutes into the half again from Callcutt who turned neatly in the box to side foot home. Renwick then finished off a goalmouth scramble before Callcutt completed hi hat trick when put in by Boyd who then scored himself with a neat drive from 15 yards.Final score 5-0 to Witton.
            In the League Fourth Division   Chester Cricket Club drew 1-1 with Framwellgate Moor Salutation.  A Jonathan Haggerty goal for the home side was cancelled out with a great strike from the Salutation forward.  The Salutation missed a second half penalty which would've earned them a victory. Durham Garden House won 2-1 at Burnmoor Jkr. New Brancepeth Wmc were 6-1 winners at Washington Honest Boy.Kelloe Davy Lamp lost 4-1 at Langley Park Rams Head; Ferryhill Post Boy beat visitors Washington Colliery 4-1 and A well contested tight game, as Quarrington Hill Wmc entertained Dubmire Wmc , with both teams playing good football at times, whilst not creating a lot of clear scoring chances.  Quarrington  Hill shaded a close first half unlucky not to score when Dan Beaney saw his chip of the Dubmire keeper come off the bar.  HT 0-0.  Dubmire had the better of the second half and hit the woodwork themselves, with a well struck shot hitting the post on 60 minutes.  The game was decided after a long ball over the top was cleared by the Dubmire keeper 25yds out; the clearance fell to Ricky Gardiner who quickly hit the ball back over the top of the keeper bouncing 6yds out and flicked into the net by Chris Taylor.  Q Hill MOM Dan Beaney Dubmire Lost 1-0
