Hetton started much the better side and took the lead in the 15th minute, good work from Bell on the right to the bye line and his cross was flicked in at the near post from Mattie Weirs 0-1. Washington kept pumping the balls  long but the Lyons defence kept them at bay. Hetton had to wait until the hour mark to go two up; a cross from the right from Teasdale and Thorpe was there to smash the ball into the net. Washington pushed forward but created no real chances and the Lyons were unlucky not to increase their lead with Louis Teasdale saw his shots cleared off the line and smashing against the bottom of the post.

Washington New Tavern FC 1 v 1 Durham County Seniors FC

Washington took the lead mid way through the first half somewhat against the run of play and helped by some poor defending, with the visitors equalising shortly afterwards, Lee Walker supplying the ball over the top then Mark Hughes with a neat finish low down to the keepers left. Hughes then almost scored again hitting a sweet half-volley from distance which the keeper did well to tip over the bar. Overall a score draw was a fair reflection

Both teams had players missing but they both managed to get teams together. NET Park started the better team but the pitch was in poor condition for any type of decent football to be played on. NET Park took the lead just before half time with a goal by Chris Barber, H/T 0-1
A few chances for both teams before a good move was finished by Martin Broom 0-2. NET Park increased their lead with a good finish by Dan Pilling 0-3.
