FIRST FEMALE REFEREE OF DURHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE CUP FINAL
Writes Peter Playle
The referee for this season’s Durham Sunday League JD Taxis Guards Cup Final was Lynsey Robinson the first female referee ever in any of the leagues cup finals. Lynsey has been refereeing in the league over the last three seasons and her outstanding performances this season resulted in her appointment to the final which she officiated with great skill. Our picture shows Lynsey collecting her memento of the game from Michael Hall of sponsor JD Taxis.
