Aycliffe WMC V New Durham WMC Score: 2 - 0
A Game Of Few Chances With Both Sides Sharing The Play. Aycliffe Attacked Strongly In The Second Half And On 65 Minutes A Durham Defender Turned A Left Wing Cross Into His Own Net To Give Aycliffe The Lead. Durham Pushed Forward For An Equaliser, But Aycliffe Held Firm, And Broke Away In The Closing Minutes To Get A Second Goal From Wright. Good Game Of Football Joy To Watch, Just Unlucky Giving An Owen Goal Away And A Silly One Right At The Death After We Had Chances Hitting The Post And There Keeper Saving Point Blank Twice

Saints V Sedgefield St Edmunds Score: 1 - 1
Hard physical game with two committed teams. St Eds went 1-0 up on 25mins through Liam Parson's. The 30 yard shot from Saints hit the underside of the bar and went in on 40mins, 1-1 half time. 2nd half end to end with lots of chances. Score remained 1-1
Washington JFC v Hetton Lyons CC Score: 2 - 4
A very competitive game Hetton Lyons took the lead late in the first half after missing a penalty on 8 minutes. Lyons made it 2 early in the second half, then JFC scored soon after. Lyons scored from a free kick to make it 3 - 1 JFC replied almost right away. Lyons made it 4 - 2 to complete the first win of the season.
Coxhoe v Sacriston CC Score: 4 - 0
Coxhoe gained revenge for their defeat in Sunday's cup match against Sacriston.
A 4-0 win and three points was an excellent way to get over the early cup exit.
Goals from Simon Rod, Colin Young and a brace from Ryan Burton was easily enough to see off Sacriston. A very poor start to the league for Sacriston who were well and truly hammered by a much improved Coxhoe team. It could have been a different score if Sacriston didn’t hit the post and the bar early on but Coxhoe wanted it more

Brancepeth WMC
Score: 1 - 0
This Game Was Always Going To Be A Hard Fought Contest And With Both Teams Missing Quite A Few Players This Local Derby Was A Cracker, Brandon Started Quick And Got On Top As It Took New Brancepeth A While To Adjust. The Best Of New Brancepeth Chances Coming From 2 Headers For Dunham And A Sublime Half Volley By Nichol Which Rattled The Beans On Toast, But It Was Brandon That Took The Lead With A Fine Solo Effort From Lee Blades, Blades Continued To Cause Problems And Was The Main Outlet For Brandon In The 2nd Half Brandon Squandered A Few Chances But New Brancepeth Battled Hard And Cud Have Ended The Match With A Draw Against The Title Favourites In My Opinion. Very Good Game and Well Played By Both Sides. Tough, Even Contest. The Game Was Decided In The First Half Through A Superb Strike By Lee Blades.
