Washington Jfc V Washington Cross Keys Score: 2 - 3
Jfc Welcomed The Keys To Their Home Ground For Their Local Derby League Game.
It Was The Visitors Who Started The Brighter Winning The First And Second Ball, The Keys Certainly Had Fire In Their Belly And Gave Jfc Very Little Time To Play However It Was Jfc Who Took The Lead When And Good Move Through The Middle Put Mezzo Through Who Finished Well Chipping Over The Diving Keeper 1-0 Wjfc. The Keys Soon Equalised When A Good Move Down The Left Saw Their Cross Fired Home From Close Range 1-1, 8 Mines Later They Were 2-1 Up With A Similar Move Paying Off Once Again. Pity Me Grow Into The Game And After 36 Mins Andy Debye Grabbed A Well Taken One V One. Pity Me Hung On Until The Last 10mjns With Both Teams Creating Chances Belmont Probably The More Clear Cut But The Game Was In The Balance Until 2 Good Set Pieces In The 83, 85 Saw Them Take The Lead. Esh Winning Cricket Club V Kelloe Davy Lamp Score: 6 - 1
Esh Winning Cruised To Victory Despite Not Playing Anywhere Near Their Best.
High Shincliffe Avenue Vs. Pelton Crown  Score: 3 - 2
Today's Contest At Houghall Was A Tightly Fought Affair, High Shincliffe Taking An Early Lead Through A Fine 25 Yard Drive From Paul Roughly After A Neat Knock On By The Man They Call Scottish. The Lead Was Short Lived As Pelton Crown Found An Equaliser A Few Minutes Later. Craig Browne In The Avenue Goal Was In Superb Form Keeping The Scores At 1-1 Leading Into Half-Time. The Second Half Began With Pelton Snatching A Lead, 2-1. The Avenue Gaffer Introduced New Signing Gavin Swankie And Forward Pascoe. Towering Centre-Back Phil Ray Fed A Ball Over The Top Latched On To By Pascoe, One On One With The Out Rushing Pelton 'Keeper He Coolly Chipped The Ball Over The Him And Nestled Nicely Into The Goal For A Stunning Equaliser. One Of The Pelton Lads Managed To Unnecessarily Talk Himself Into A Red Card After A Tough Challenge. Minutes Later, Swankie Charged Forward Beating The Last Defender And Broke Through Onto The 'Keeper, He Unselfishly Squared The Ball Leaving Scottish To Slot Home, 3-2 Avenue. Pelton Worked Hard To Find An Equaliser As High Shincliffe Held On To Their First Points Of The Season Including Another Unbelievable Save From Man Of The Match, Browne.

Chester-Le-Street Relton Terrace V Quarrington Hill Wmc  Score: 4 - 2
A Well Contested First Half With The Visitors Leading 2-0 At Half Time Thanks To Goals From Carl Tingley After Rounding The Keeper & Chris Winter After A Run With The Ball And Driving It Low Into The Net, And A Good Display From Young Keeper Jordan Nicholson.
The Second Half Started With Relton Being Awarded 2 Penalties Very Early On, Both Were Converted. From Here, There Was Only One Winner As The Home Side Scored A Further 2 Goals In Fairly Quick Succession And Were In Control For The Rest Of The Game And Win. Mom  Jordan Nicholson
Sherburn Lambton Arms V Washington Cherry Tree  Score: 3 - 1
The Game Started With A Mistake From The Sherburn Keeper And Defender Gifting The Washington Team A Head Start And Through The First Half Washington Were A Better Team But Could Put The Game To Bed. The Second Half Was Different And Sherburn Went On The Offensive Reacting Chance After Chance Until Ten Minute Till End Of Second Half From A Corner Lee Broadley Keep In The Air Like A Salmon And Powered A Header Home. In Extra Time Sherburn Still On The Offensive Gave The Ball To Josh Hugill In The Center Circle And Proceeded To Pass Six Washington Players And Side Step The Keeper And Took The Goal Beautifully. The Third Goal Was Controversial When The Washington Keeper Brought Down A Sherburn Player Inside The Box And A Penalty Was Given Which Ste Turnbull Put In The Back Of The Next Decisively. A Good Performance From The Cherry Tree To Keep Sherburn Village Quiet Right Until The Last Minute. Then A Bad Decision By The Referee After What Should Have Been A Foul On The Goalkeeper Sherburn Levelled 1-1 To Take It Into Extra Time. Once Extra Time Got Underway, Another Bad Decision From The Referee Where A Penalty Was Awarded To Sherburn When The Foul Was Outside Of The Box And From Where The Referee Was Standing You Couldn’t Even See The Painted Line For The Edge Of The Box. Sherburn Scored And Made It 2-1, Sherburn Then Went On And Scored A 3rd.

Gilesgate Queens Head Fc V  Pelaw Grange Dogs Fc   Score: 3 - 0
With A Couple Of Players Missing Through Injury Pelaw Didn't Look As If They Wanted To Win This In The First Half And Went 3 Nil Down By Half Time Playing Downhill. A Great Save From A Penalty By Craig Bain In The Pelaw Grange Dogs Goal Had Prevented Them Being 4 Nil Down. Gilesgate Had Made Several Changes From When They Had Played Pelaw Recently And They Looked As If They Really Wanted To Win The Game In The First Half With Instructions Coming From Their Keeper James Winter. In The Second Half Scott Patterson Had Been Replaced By Kyle Mead As He Had Been Injured At The End Of The 1st Half And Chris Harvey Came On For Darryl Bell. Paul Mcnally Dropped Back Into Scot Patterson Centre Back Roll. Although They Were Now Playing Uphill Pelaw Had More Shots On Goal Forcing James Winter To Make Some Good Saves. Josh Donnelly Came On For An Injured Chris Gosnell And Gilesgate Also Used 3 Of Their Substitutes Before The Final Whistle Blew
Houghton Chilton Lodge Vs.  Chester Le Street Red Lion Score: 3 - 4
Good End To End Game With Red Lion Coming Out On Top. Chilton Lodge Opened The Scoring With A Through Ball From Andrew Bowes To David Firth Who Lifted The Ball Over The Keeper Into The Net. Red Lion Pulled One Back, Their Lad Was Allowed To Carry The Ball 60 Yards Unchallenged Who Squared It Off, A Fierce Shot Rebounded Off The Keeper And The Red Lion Forward Was The Only Person To React To Slide The Ball Under The Out Rushing Keeper 1-1. Red Lion Then Went 2-1 Up, A One-Two Found The Winger In Box All Alone Who Scored One On One With The Keeper. Chilton Lodge Then Had A Penalty Turned Down However The Ball Landed To Trev Todd Who Smashed The Ball High Into The Net From 18 Yards. 2-2. Again Poorer Defending By The Chilton Lodge And The Same Red Lion Winger Found Himself Alone In The Box To Finish With A Strike Into The Far Corner Across The Keeper. 3-2 Ht.
Second Half Saw Chilton Lodge Players Hall And Armstrong Booked For Cynical Fouls As Red Lion Looked To Counter On The Break. The Chilton Lodge Made It 3-3, A Corner From Ross Meaghan Was Met With A Bullet Header By Adam Summerson Who Score From 4 Yards. Again Though Pretty Much Straight Away Red Lion Exploited The Frailties Of The Chilton Lodge Defence To Take The Lead. Red Lion Found Himself Clean Through One On One With The Keeper Who Couldn't Keep The Ball Out Despite Getting A Hand On It. The Game Finished 4-3 To Red Lion.
Ferryhill Celtic V Sedgefield Netpark. Score: 2 – 2 Aet Celtic Won On Penalties
A Cracking Cup Tie That Was A Very Even And Well Fought Game. Netpark Took The Lead As The Celtic Defender For A Split Second Thought He Was A Goalkeeper And Dived To Save The Ball!! Phil Bland Scored From The Spot 0-1 H/T. Celtic Came Out The Better Team And Equalised On 55mins With A Great Low Ball Crossed Into The Box Tapped In By The Onrushing Midfield 1-1.
Celtic Had The Better Chances To Win The Game F/Extra Time And Netpark With Only One Sub Were Not Able To Freshen Things Up, Celtic Took The Lead Again And Then Just Sat Back To Try And See The Game Out, Netpark Took Advantage Of This And Threw Lads Forward. Netpark Had The Chances To Equalise And In The Last Second Kevin Broom Finished Into The Top Corner After A Scramble In The Box Aet2-2.Then The Lottery Of Penalties Both Keepers Saved And Some Players Missed. It Went Me To Sudden Death With Celtic Coming Out On Top, Great Game For The Spectators To Enjoy!!!
Ferryhill Community Hub V Brandon Sports Club Score: 1 - 4
Ferryhill Hub Piled The Pressure On In The First Half As The Underdogs Constantly Harassing The Opposition On Their First Touch. The Persistency Paid Off When Ferry Hill’s Midfielder Was Brought Down Just Inside The Box And Was Awarded A Penalty. The Penalty Was Confidently Slotted Away By Ferry Hill’s Stand In Striker. Ferryhill Found Themselves 1-0 Up At Half Time. In The Second Half Brandon Really Stepped It Up A Gear And Started To Show What They Were Capable Of. The 3 Division’s Gap Between The Two Sides Started To Show In This Half As Brandon Started To Play Some Lovely Football And Create Some Fantastic Chances. This Continued For The Majority Of The Half And The Creative Play Paid Off For Brandon As They Managed To Score 4 Goals To Finish The Game 1-4. Ferryhill Defied Their Underdog Status For Nearly An Hour In This Game Until Brandon's Class And Better Fitness Took Over. On A Very Small Field The Hosts Had Much The Better Of The First Half Possession And Attacking Play. They Took A Deserved Lead From A Penalty Converted By Birbeck And Were 1-0 Up At Half Time. Brandon Had Grown More And More Into The Game As The Half Wore On Though And The Ferryhill Goalkeeper Thompson Made A Few Smart Stops To Deny The Visitors. Brandon Continued To Impose Themselves In The Second Half And After Continuous Pressure Turner Levelled With A Strike From Outside The Area. Burnham Put Them In Front With A Similarly Smart Finish Into The Corner From 20 Yards Following Good Build Up Work From Brandon's Mom Parnaby. Once Brandon Had Taken The Lead It Was Very Much One Way Traffic And The Hosts Struggled To Stay Close. Parnaby Found The Net For The Third Goal With A Goal From A Right Angle, Before Burnham Tapped Home A Rebound From A Yard Out To Round Off The Second Half Comeback. Special Mention Though Must Go To The Hosts' Keeper Daniel Thompson Who Was Outstanding Throughout. The 4-1 Score Line Would've Been Much Bigger But For Him.Hetton New Inn V New Brancepeth Wmc Score: 5 - 1
New Brancepeth Started The Game Fairly Well And Were Onto For A Period Of Time And Went 1 0 Up Through Bussey, Hetton Then Scored A Very Lucky Goal From A Cross And This Got Them Going And From Then On It Was Men V Boys As Hetton Outfought Out Battled And Outplayed New Brancepeth, Adding Another 4 Goals, Very Disappointing Performance For Us But Credit To Hetton They Deserved The Win
Bowburn Fc Vs. Burnmoor Jfcscore: 4 - 3
The Game Was Played In A Competitive Manner By Both Teams, Burnmoor Took The Lead Then Straight From The Restart Scored A 2nd. Bowburn Then Pulled A Goal Back Through Stefan Middleton.
After Half Time Burnmoor Increased Their Lead Only To Be Pulled Back By Bowburn With A Header From A Corner By Ray Pirt Who Then Went On To Equalise After A Goal Mouth Scramble With Ray Pirt Getting The Final Touch. With Both Teams Pushing For A Winner It Was Bowburn Who Broke Away With Daniel Crisp Hitting A Right Foot Shot Which The Burnmoor Keeper Managed To Push Onto The Crossbar The Rebound However Fell Back At The Feet Of Crisp Who Scored With His Left Foot For Bowburn To Win.
Sedgefield Social Club Fc V Framwellgate Moor Wmc Score: 8 – 10 After Extra Time On Penalties.
A Competitive Cup Tie With Goals Galore, The Victory Pendulum Swinging From Sedgefield To Fram On Numerous Occasions! At One Point Sedgefield Looked Comfortable With A 5-3 Score Line, However, The Victory Pendulum Swung Back To Fram Who Levelled The Score At 5-5 Just Before Full Time. Sedgefield Scored First In Extra Time But Once Again Fram Responded And Equalised Bringing The Score To 6-6 After Extra Time, Taking The Game To A Penalty Shoot Out.Sedgefield's Centre Half, An Army Marksman Took The First Penalty, Which Was That Far Over The Bar It Knocked A Seagull Out Of The Sky! Frams Penalty Takers Held Their Nerve Whilst The Seagull Was Buried And Eventually Ran Out 4-2 Winners On Penalties! Ps No Animals Were Actually Hurt In The Writing Of This Report! A Very Entertaining Draw In The Cup Between Each Team, Score Ended 6-6. Fram Had The Edge In The Penalty Shootout, Won It 4-2...

The Game Went To Extra Time & When It Looked Like Penalties Gilesgate Pounced To Win The Tie An Even Game Between Two Games Going For The Result. The Teams Were Deadlocked At 2-2 Until In Extra Team Up Popped Liam Oudnie With The Winner For Gilesgate For An Upset Victory. Durham County Seniors Vs East Rainton Fcc Score: 0 - 1
East Rainton Won Against Durham County Seniors With Michael Carroll Nodding Home The Winner In The 85th Minute, East Rainton Should Have Won The Game Long Before With Callum Hops Going Close On Several Occasions And Efforts From Bleach And Ward Well Saved By The Durham Keeper Who Was Later Named Man Of The Match, Daniel Grant Also Stood Out For Rainton Who Recorded Their 5th Win In 5 Games.
A Very Slow Start To The Game With Neither Side Really Testing Each Other Out But Hilda Having The Majority Of The Possession. The Breakthrough Came When Stephen Gregory Slotted Home Before Half Time To Make It 1-0.
Chester Hilda Park V Chilton Wmc Score: 6 – 1

That Eased Any Nerves And Inroads Were Made And Goals Flowed From Chris Cuthbertson, Mattie Forster And Ross "Inchy" Hughes Consolation Came From The Penalty Spot When The Skip Graeme Barber Rested His Hands In The Forward Shoulders :) All In All A Good Day At The Office
Final Score 6-1
The Britannia Cls Vs. Washington Honest Boy Score: 5 - 4

After Half Time The Home Side Took Control Of The Match Going 5-2 Up With Hope Getting His 3rd And 4th Goals Before A Raft Of Substitutions Let The Away Side Back Into The Game By Scoring 2 In The Dying Seconds.
