Holders crash out
The league programme was wiped out by the
snow, the only game that took place was the FA Sunday cup tie in London.

Cup Holders Hetton Lyons bowed out of
the competition in west London but not without a fight. Barnes had
the upper hand in the first half and created more of the chances and took
the lead in the 27th minute from a corner and it was headed in to the net. The
visitors had a huge appeal for a penalty for hand ball but
the referee from Essex wasn't interested soon after Byrne had a glorious
chance to equalize but failed to connect from the cross from Teasdale. Grame
Pickering in goal for the Lyons pulled of a great save and Thorpe
cleared off the line to deny the hosts.
Second half and the Lyons were two goals down in
the 47th minute an unfortunate slip from the defender gave the Barnes striker a
glorious opportunity and his shot gave Pickering no chance Two
goals down but the Lyons went all out attack and in 59th minute Chris
Lawther pulled a goal back for the Lyons with a wicked shot from 18 yards and
soon after another hand ball in the penalty box and the referee just waved
everyone away. Hetton continued to attack the hosts goal but the hosts
head out for the victory
