Gilesgate first half goals were similar - both brilliantly hammered home from twenty five yards out - the first from David Clark and then another from Chris Brown. Gilesgate were certainly the better side in the first half but Mill dominated the second and it was no surprise when on fifty five minutes Shaun Corner knocked in a Max Stoker right wing cross. Mill introduced substitute Stephen Parkin and on seventy five minutes with his back to goal neatly controlled a Liam Mence pass before turning
and smashing the ball into the corner of the net beyond the outstretched arms of keeper Lee Weller.
