With only 11 players available for selection Sedgefield Netpark for the Cup Tie at Lumley Fc .Netpark knew they would have a roll up their sleeves and dig in. Jamie Seymour broke down the left flank and burst into the box before pulling the ball back for MARK ATCHISON to drive the ball past the keeper. Midfield maestro Ben Lloyd was pulling the strings in the middle of the park and set DANIEL HILL through on goal who made no mistake. Ben Lloyd was involved again as he supplied the through ball for DANIEL HILL to race on to and coolly lob the away keeper. It was once again Ben Lloyd who set up JOEL BADDAMS with another defence splitting pass, with pacey midfielder racing clear before slotting home. It was now turning into a rout for the home side as Jamie Seymour twisted and turned in the area before squaring for MICHAEL CURL to fire home from close range. Half Time 6-0 to the Plough Waterhouses started the second period and were immediately on the back foot against a rampant Plough Inn. In the opening stages CHRIS HOWEY notched his first goal for the club when his cross from deep on the right sailed over the keeper and into the roof of the net. Three changes by the home side didn’t affect the balance of play and it was substitute John Adamson who linked well with MARK ATCHISON to fire into the corner of the net. Midfield man Ben Lloyd set NATHAN BADDAMS free on the left as he coolly curled the ball over the Waterhouses keeper. The home side were now looking for double figures and didn’t have long to wait as Michael Curl went on a dazzling run from centre half before crossing to JOHN ADAMSON to poke home from close range.
